LA Fitness recently occupied a brand new 43,000 square foot athletic facility at the Highland Hill Shopping Center, Tacoma, WA. Koehler & Company is the Managing General Partner of the shopping center ownership entity. La Fitness’ new state-of-the-art facility was designed as a full service athletic club complete with a swimming pool; full basketball, squash & racquetball courts; cardio and weight equipment and full suite of men’s and women’s locker rooms. Since its opening in August of 2008, the facility has successfully exceeded its membership goals.

Koehler & Company delivered the site to LA Fitness, who contracted James E John Construction Co to build the facilities’ shell & core and interior improvements. Koehler & Company provided construction oversight of the project, including all the sitework construction.
